RIP to one of our greatest. I remember crying the day he was released. I'm happy I had the opportunity to meet him.

One of my favorite quotes:
“We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”

[QUOTE=Ritle] Rest in peace Rolihlahla/Nelson Mandela.
I am glad that I grew up in a time to witness his impact on this world and the legacy he leaves behind.

Yes! I'm so happy I was touring South Africa during the transition period right before his election. There was so much electricity in the air. It was my most memorable trip and I will never forget it.

I remember all the Free Mandela rallies and protests during my college days. Artists boycotting SA.  ALL Stevie Wonder's efforts . I'm proud to have been part of all that.

RIP Great One.
