Am I the only one who cried like a baby when I heard? I know he was 95 but this hurt my heart.

| No you aren't. I woke up today hoping it was a dream. I know he was old. And i knew it probably would have been soon...It's just...his death scares me in a way, like it represents the beginning of an even tougher battle..esp for us soldiers fighting on different parts of the globe...(not what that foolish bbc correspondent said!)

Rest in peace Rolihlahla/Nelson Mandela. I am glad that I grew up in a time to witness his impact on this world and the legacy he leaves behind.

RIP...he basically lived our current life span in prison and still accomplished more than many of us could ever dream of. | Exactly!

RIP to one of our greatest. I remember crying the day he was released. I'm happy I had the opportunity to meet him.
One of my favorite quotes: “We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
