If they are outside of their healthy weight range then yes, technically they do. We all have a healthy weight range and an optimum weight, taking height and body fat percentage into account. Rihanna looks to be right in the middle, maybe a little less.

There are all diff sizes in the healthy BMI range. You can be healthy and still have curves. I never said Rih was starving, I said some females starve themselves to look like her. Honestly I think I may have answered this quote twice

Disagree. I'm no Beyonce Stan, but I'd take Beyonce before she had a kid than Rih any day. Real women have curves. |
i wish y'all would stop with this garbage
| I wish people would stop starving themselves to be that skinny. Why do you think so many people have come out against girls and women trying so hard to imitate women they see in magazines and on runways?
But you'll never feel or experience that though. | and on the opposite end of the spectrum you have people injecting their bodies with concrete and the like for curves, because, real women have curves right?
its bullsit, attaching the term real woman to anything invalidates those that dont fit into that subgroup with the possible effect of affecting one's self esteem and placing value of one's feminity on physical attributes
its like trying to embrace one body type over the other why not embrace everyone female?
its counterproductive and equally damaging | Those few compared to how many females that are killing themselves to be that skinny? Come on now. Eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, exercise bulimia and even laxative bulimia aren't new. So why are u acting like you don't already know this? Hell, more than one president has spoken out about people on magazines being too thin and how many people have come out saying women should just be them? The number of women trying to be skinny far outweighs the amount of blk women being stupid enough to inject themselves with toxic substances trying to look like Nicki Minaj
Both are damaging, women just need to accept themselves. I'd just rather Beyonce's shape over Rih's. I'm tired of seeing designers make things that i have to figure out either "How I'm going to wear a bra with that?" or "Is that long enough for where my ass won't show when I walk bc the hemline is going to rise about 2 inches when I put it on?" Almost everything looks good on people with size like Rih bc there isn't much there, their body can showcase the clothes. Not on women with hour and pear glass shapes. |
Then don't say real women have curves. There are plenty of women who ain't starving themselves, that have naturally curve-less bodies.

I can see OP's point. I like Rihanna's style more. Maybe the thread should be "Rihanna is sexier than Bey," since many see Bey is a quintessential beauty.
