RHO A-F-R-O Kinky Curly UPDATE 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12

I made this post in The Ultimate Kinky Curly Thread, but I know some people don't venture to it. Plus, I barely see the RHO Afro Kinky Curly on the board. So I figured to make a thread about the hair as well.

My intentions were to wait a few weeks to post pictures, but I couldn't.  The photos are only back shots because I haven't really did any blending, and I wear my leaveout braided with a headband. So the front isn't anything special, BUT here's the hair! I will be providing better angles, pictures, and styles!!!

I don't like the shape of it. So I plan to have it trimmed a little, but since I wear it in a ponytail majority of the time, I'm not in a rush. So don't judge me!

SPECS:
Hair: RHO Afro Kinky Curly

Inches: 14

Ounces: 9 pieces were used. So that's equivalent to 9 ounces.

Color: I dyed the hair with Soft Sheen Carson. There were two separate colors used for different pieces. I don't know the two colors off hand, but I can find out for anyone that wants to know.

Hair Texture: I'm completely natural. I'm a 4a/4a hair texture. It's not dyed either. I thought it was a porosity issue, but it's just its natural color. I'm providing pictures of my natural hair. They are not recent, but my hair texture hasn't changed. It's kinky, cottony, coily...whatever adjective you wanna use.

After the hair dried



It's about 100 degrees here, so having my hair down for long periods isn't an option. I usually put it up in a ponytail. This is how the ponytail looked about wearing it for 2 days.


Hair is wet and conditioned with Garnier Sleek and Smooth conditioner


I purposely wanted more shrinkage. So while the hair was slightly damp, I put on a bonnet and let it dry completely. This was the result.



Once I stop being lazy, I will be blending my hair, but until the devil closes his legs, I'm keeping my leaveout braided and my weave in a ponytail.

That is so pretty!! It matches your hair perfectly. Member Mimi76 also had a really gorgeous pic of the afro kinky curly. And one other member, I can't remember her name, but she had a couple of very pretty pics as well. And that's it! This is the one texture that seems really hard to find pics of! The hair seems very versatile - would you say that is the case? Thanks for the pics...it will help a lot of people decide.

@ Mai Ava -- I know the other member you are talking about. It's zkittycurl (I believe that's her name). It is one of those harder texture to find pictures of, but I'm happy I got it. It is versatile! I love that it mimics my hair so well. I plan to do twist outs, braid outs, and more "fro" styles within the recent weeks.

I have an extra piece that I didn't install, and I was going to straight on a section of it to see how it handles heat. I don't plan to straighten my hair out, but I know it would help people that wanted to know how the hair behaves before they purchased it.
