For the ladies that re-use their remy hair, how do you do this if you dont do your own sew-ins? I mean, when you take your weave down, the wefts are all different lengths.  So lets say you wash it and its ready to be put back in, how do you take that to your styliststo reuse it on your head or are they gonna look at you like you crazyShocked?

If I plan on reusing the weave...I keep the hair in order, keeping the longer tracks away from the shorter tracks...I typically don't use all of the old hair. If I run out of hair, I hold on to the longer tracks and re use those and then use newer hair on top.

I just keep the tracks in order I don't cut the weft until the hair gets old.  Wash it with care, let it air dry.  You can reuse remy hair up to a year before you have to get a new batch unless your stylist is hard on the installs.

When I had my weaves in, I re-used them a couple of times because they cost me a lot of money and I was gonna get my money worth lol. if you let the stylist who did it before install it in again then they should have an idea. I never put mine in order, just wash, dry, wrap the hair in a hair bow, plastic bag, and go lol, but the stylist should have an idea of where to put it, long ones in the back and short ones in front. After they braid your hair up or whatever the process, they usually go through the weave pieces and fit it to the braid/section their sewing in.

Alot of ladies state that they have no shedding at all and they reuse their wefts.  I have yet to purchase remy hair and have no shedding at all.  For those individuals who reuse their remy hair do you experience minimal shedding each day?  Minimal shedding to me is equivalent to the same amount you would lose from your natural scalp daily.  I wonder how are we expected to use this high quality hair for up to a year and you keep losing hairsConfused

I used RKHairs before and had very minimal shedding due to me combing and brushing.  Not the same kind of shedding that I would experience on my own hair.
