I remember a member saying she knew there was a god cuz she was on a car accident & only walked away with minor injuries.  I wanted to say I was in an accident where the car fipped & rolled & I HAD ZERO injuries.  so my atheism + accident trumps her beliefs + accident.  But I didn't wanna get the ppl goingLOL


And to me it's like, if there was a god, why were you in an accident in the first place?

I would ask questions like that in bible study...they stopped giving me the mic.

I agree with this. That's twisted logic. That like saying the minute they get bad luck they will stop believing. Or like saying good things only happen to good people and vice versa. Or God is only creator of the Christians and not everyone else.

I'm not sure how one could prove psychic ability and if anyone did they would be famous.
If I tell you that tomorrow you will awaken by a fire alarm, but there will be no fire, just ur mom burning breakfast.  Then as you walk down the stairs, you stub ur big toe on the rail, when you get ur test back from ur teacher, ur grade will be an 87%.

Yes but this has never happened. If someone had this capability they would be famous by now. They wouldn't be working in a parlor or on a 1-900 line.

You're referring to me.  I happen to have a scientific take on psychic ability.  I call it heightened instinct.  I do not have a clear hypothesis on how it works, but then again, the person who thought the Earth revolved around the sun was trying to find a way to prove his theory, too.
 
I don't think it is as exact as how bunnyah describes, nor do I think it is always controllable.  I couldn't understand why see and hear what I do, but I believe there is a scientific explanation for it.
