there are other ways to masturbate that don't hurt. also most people don't consider masturbating to be losing you virginity.

let me explain.
other religions don't really spend a whole lot of time teaching against the beliefs of the other.
i didn't go to church everyday hearing Muhammed was not a prophet of God.
i never felt like Muhammed wasn't a prophet.
I didn't have faith that he wasn't a prophet.

Converting isn't suddenly deciding to believe in things that you didn't before, but rather believing in things that you believe you were were ignorant to before, or had a wrong understanding of previously.

and vice versa.  one could believe the primary claim in their heart and soul (have faith) and not be all that educated about it at the same time...

but it all boils down to believing in the primary claim. 

do you in your heart believe that jesus is the son of god that sacrificed blah balah ablah ablah? 
theres only one thing that should compel you to join an abrahamic faith. not the fact that they have a lot of things that you might agree with, or you find the methods that they employ to serve/show faith more entertaining. 

it should all come from within.
