I want to try texturizing my hair but its flat ironed and wrapped right now. Can I put the relaxer on the flat ironed hair or will that leave my hair stick straight or is it more healthier for my hair to be in it's nautrally curly state when I put the relaxer on it? I'm natural but tired of fighting my hair.

Yes, you can relax flat ironed hair. My hair never turned out stick straight because of it. (But if I leave the relaxer on too long it turns out  bone straight)

You could also relax it the other way.

I can't say that if it is healthier to do one or the other though.

I can say this... I know I definitely would not flat iron my hair and then 5 minutes later put a relaxer on it. That just doesn't seem right. Might be too much too soon for my hair.

Now if you flat iron and wait a few days before you relax, that would be alright, IMO. Since you did it a few days ago, I think it will be fine.

Well since you hair is all natural i think having it flat ironed will definately make applying the relaxer faster and easier. More than likely you will be able to see your curl pattern once the relaxer is applied. The only time flat ironed hair would be a problem is when you have previously relaxed hair and you can't tell where the natural new growth meets the relaxed hair and you overlap. This is just my opinion and I am no professional & I could be wrong but I hope this helps. im sure others will chime in that may know better than me. :)
