This reminds me of something that happened in New Orleans in the 90's. The girl's name was Brandy or Brandi and she went to St. Mary's Academy or some other Christian school. Her unborn child's father was a basketball or football star on his way to college with scholarships. She was shot in the head or face in her car I think. She and the baby died. I can still see her picture in my mind. Everyone was surprised when the boyfriend got off. 

I'm trying to find it on google but it was so long ago and I'm not sure of the details. Someone older from the area would know which case I'm talking about.

^^^^Grrr...I still can't find anything on it. I will ask my mom about it tomorrow.

 But I've heard before that statistically a pregnant woman has the greatest chance of being murdered or something like that.
