Ne-yo...I think the Dream writes songs for the birds, and alot of them sound the same...
I dont think you can compare Teddy Riley to J&T, they were equally great in their own era's and are so different...
BabyFace..... though we can't deny his talent, R.Kelly was one of the main pioneers of blatant raunchiness in R&B music, and while he did it well, look at the state of R&B now, so frickin tacky :-( why ain't he stepping in?..He dun turned a plum fool anyway...

Based on that list, I gotta go with Babyface.
A lot of his songs have substance and are not just popular tracks or album fillers.
ETA: Reading it's fundamental lol.
NeYo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis Babyface
Overall MVP goes to Babyface.

I was just listening to Babyface earlier today.
We fell in love and who could blame us, the word was we were just besides ourselves...

tough choices
ne-yo and dream = tie (im inclined to teeter towards the dream though by a smidgen)
teddy riley
kellz
the latter two because they changed the direction of black pop culture, pushed the envelope and their overall verstaility
