Rate your 2013 Black History Month experience!
Some questions to consider (not a survey):
Did you learn anything? If so, where did you learn the most? Did you do anything to celebrate/commemorate Black History Month? Has it been recognized at your workplace, school, place of worship or in your community?
Were you disappointed? What do you think should occur in Black History Months in the future?
At the end of February, are you inspired to learn more about Black history? To do anything?

Yes, I learned some stuff. I learned some from my job. Also the Black students at my school put together some good programs. Not so much informational, but just learned about perspectives of different subcultures within the black community. So I went to a few of these during BHM. Yes, it was recognized at both my school and my job.
Not really disappointed. But I think it's sad that our history is only confined to a month.
This BHM didn't really inspire me to do anything in addition to what Im already doing.

correction...didnt learn anything new. feb isnt the only year i read about blk history
