i don't know if this is appropriate in the wig world.
i like curly wigs, actually loose curly wigs. but i discovered a nice straight bob wig by Beverly Johnson that's shoulder length.
can a girl go from curly to straight without any suspicion?

You may be able to get away with it they may think you straightened the curls out. I would try it,it's up too you but me myself I just wear whatever I feel which I know is suspect but I do not care.

thanks Tousha.. i've seen a lot of naturally curly heads use the flat iron all of the time. i'll see if i can pull this off. it's not like i'll have a wig with straight hair trailing down to my butt. THAT would raise an eyebrow - and questions.

I am so slow. How about I just discovered that wigs had ear tabs to help you put it on right. No wonder the wigs haven't been looking the same on me as they do on the people on youtube. I was also ready to send a couple of them back but I put them on correctly and actually curled them, now I am in love. LOL I am currently transitioning and my hair may never see the light of day..a bit extreme but I am feeling the wigs.

I am so mad that I let a wig I REALLY wanted sell out by listening to other people saying it would not work for me. Now the color is no longer available on ANY site. I emailed the company and I am waiting for a response. I might have to start checking stores in my area. It is the ISIS NADIA wig. Dangit!

Finally got my hands on the NADIA wig. Found it at a beauty supply store. I stopped at 3 stores and the last one had it. They had a curtain advertisement featuring the wig. I was so excited..I didn't try it on or anything...it was 30% off and came to 31.99. BOOOSTED!!!!! Thanks Tousha! Pictures are upstairs. My guy friend thinks this is my best wig yet lol. I need to order more styrofoam heads..my collections is growing.lol

just bought a Stella wig. This is a tight curled wig when you first take it out of the package. Wash it first, with conditioner. (yes co-wash), and those tight curls turn into small loose coils.. Really, cool. Unfortunately, i bought it in #2 which is a little lighter than what i'm used to wearing.
But i'm sure the guys could care less.

i also bought this Motown Flex synthetic wig which is really nice.
Usually most curly wigs are too dense at the crown.. This one is just right. BUT.. do the co-wash first? And the wig will relax into springier, more natural looking curls..
very nice. I'm afraid to wear it now because i have a signature "look" of looser looking curls.

Sooner or later, they will start selling on Amazon. com and when they do? i will be the first to review that damn Sherri shepard wig called "Full-on Curls"..
I placed a positive review on Wigs.com BEFORE wearing the damn thing. I was so excited.
when i tried to update or edit my review. they wouldn't post it. I went to their sister site, Voguewigs.com, yes, they too, cherry pick their reviews.
EspeciallyYours.com and Ebonyline are all associated with Wigs.com and WowWigs.com.
you cannot give a negative review about their wigs on these websites.
Thus, i wait. Usually, if it doesn't sell well? they go to Amazon.com - a place where a person can freely post. This is the second bad choice i've made for a wig that costs of $70.00..
Just goes to show you, that "expensive" isn't always "right" or "quality".
