I wanted to start a thread but I'm new and can't. How long do you ladies keep your weaves in? I'm getting my FIRST weave ever, full sew in with silk closure, virgin Brazilian hair. My total will be a whopping $500 and I definitely want to keep it in at least 2 months, but preferably 3 months before removing after spending that much. How long do you guys keep it in? Any tips on caring for it and my natural hair?

$500? . . .
Are you supplying your own hair or is your stylist?

If you feel comfortable with paying your stylist that amount, I can't tell you otherwise.
I will say that $500 is 33 oz. worth of 16 inch Chinese KC . . . or 2 silktop FLW . . .
Install time-frames vary anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on braid pattern, hair type/origin, and style versatility. I shoot for at least 5 weeks. Then again, I wear KC a lot, which leads to tons of moisture, which leads to looser braids S'why I'm making u-parts from now on . . .

I am so disappointed by both of my latest purchases. over $300 on hair I either don't need or don't like. hopefully when I get home and rinse this conditioner out of it it'll feel better. hopefully.
