The more I think about it the more I'm against going to someone to do my sew in for me. It is WAY too hard to find a good stylist in my area and I ain't trying to travel to Neptune just to get my hair done. I'd rather just have a friend or one of my cousins braid my hair down for me and do the sew in myself than risk going to any and everybody. Plus it seems like all the people who actually charge within the budget I'm trying to stay in only care about styling they could care less about trying to actually maintain the health of your hair as well. I'm looking for a natural look I'd rather NOT leave their shop with my hair fried, dyed, and laid to the side and full of hard behind spritz and gel.

This is my biggest issue.  I usually get frustrated and go back to sew ins.  My sewing technique is as good as any pro.  I just have to be more patient and work on my fitting.  I still love my stylists braided base though.  If I can master the fit of the wig, I would stilll have her do my braids and cut the wig.  I'm gonna start my next project in the next couple of weeks.

Missy have you tried making them on a wig block that is about the same size of your head?

got my coarse yaki upart from roman today, looks great but I've lost a few hairs so I'm a little worried about shedding - can you seal wefts already sewn on a upart?
