there is the elastic method or you can "glue it" down with some Got2b gel and spray

Oh Gawd, I tried this method (elastic) ...first off i looked like I had a g-string on my head ..... Then every day it seemed to go further and further back till one day I pulled up to the scene with my ceiling missing lol

If you try this method you gotta make sure you know what you are doing because clearly I missed a step

LOL . I mad one attempt at wearing closures . I bascially scratch the thing off at church .

How can I make a swim cap wig more fitted in the middle?  My options I have are

1) sewing a seam across the back between the tracks

2) An elastic band??

It's a full wig but I think my hair was more bulky or I measured wrong.  Cry Help!!!  I've been weaveless too long.

cut the elastic band before you make your wig. use a large ap, cut the elastic band and stretch it over your block and it will fit nicely all around

#1.  Decrease the amount of space between your tracks.

I still have too much space in the center of the wig.  Any other options?  Take some tracks out and cut the cap?

Cut the band on the swimcap?  What can I do to eliminate the gap in the cap?  I think the large cap is to big. My wig is already made, but I'll keep this info for future reference.

Do you arch your tracks on your wigs?  I've sewn my tracks ear to ear and wondered is that correct.

You could do that, but if the circumference is good (but the wig is baggy in the middle) closing some of the spaces between your wefts should suffice.

Is the wig too big from ear to ear or hairline to nape?  Ear to ear would require you to remove the tracks and start over after altering the cap.

^^^ THIS!  Thanks so much!!!  I have another wig density issue.  I will post pic of the wig shortly for feedback. I think I was over zealous with my track spacing (really small) and the wig looks like MUFASA now. LOL
