I haven't been to the any of my city's annual little festivals for black history month and all that other stuff in years but I'm actually anticipating January/February when they roll around just so I can get out the house.

That reminds me I should've bought some when I went shopping so I can cook them with my curry chicken. I'm mad the last time I bought some my mom thought they were rotten bananas and threw them away.

Yeah, my friends always be like, "why ya'll got black bananas in your house? Ya'll Nasty as hell." but thats how they look when dey be ready for cookin. I believe dis lady must have cooked them when they were green and she over fried them. So now they taste and look like burnt wood pellets. I can't believe she's African and she can't even cook such a simple thing.
