i see where youre coming from as far as him not starting completely at the bottom rap wise. He probably didnt have to stand out on the street trying to sell mixtapes or show up to exec offices begging them to listen, he already somewhat had a fan base and probably knew a few ppl.
but many people heard the song and looked at it like he was talking about money/material wise.. hence why the first comments are "hes from a suburb, he didnt come from the bottom"
so, 'the bottom' can be looked at as more than rap/career wise.
that was my argument.. that he didnt start wealthy or anywhere near it.
