Cause the virus only popped up when I was on those websites

Its so annoying. It pretty much locks your computer making you think your gonna get arrested if you don't pay 200 bucks. And people actually fall for that mess

No its not like a regular pop up you can click out of. It literally locks your computer taking up the whole screen. You can't exit or minimize it. You can't even access your desktop unless you go on safe mode

I'm not downloading, just streaming

I dont know how project free is, but do they have ratings for each link? If so, do you think clicking on the links with the highest ratings would prevent the virus?

Also, do you have any virus protection? I have avira and something else, I wonder if they would protect me

I have Avira too . That's what the guy who got rid of it installed the last time this happened.
