I wouldn't give a fake compliment to the average person.. But for some reason I just feel like maybe u should or its expected for really sick ppl and kids..

Like after I said thank you there was this awkward silence and idk why but I felt as if I was coming off cocky by not returning the compliment

IMO I dont think you should give a fake compliment just because the person is sick. They are still a person I'm sure it hurts their feelings more when people like to them than when people tell them the truth because the person may feel you only did it because you feel sorry for them.

I have class in 3 hours and I just feel like I'm about to have a breakdown. Seriously. I'm shaking. sweaty. Crying. What is wrong with me? I'll be okay once this semester is over and I never see this fool again.

I'm going to get straight A's this semester.
