the ladies upstairs coat it in olive oil sometimes before bleaching

i think that happened cus at first i let it soak in just developer.. but when that didnt get it light enough i tried the bleach. 
the lady at sallys said that thats why it fried.. 

i didnt put oil or protective stuff on it.
