Elephant STEEL got a house and he has sorted out his electricity meter. As for the bleaching, i dont know how comes nodody never clown him for it yet LMAOOOO
Beenie Man was wrong for saying what he said. But he was right about Elephant man. Askon an international level ppl what song from Elephant man they know...answer ..signall the plane. Beenie is stays in the spotlight. he here for this whole holiday weekend. Booked Beenie can work a stage through pop down sound quality eg. Memorial Day at Roy Wilkins park. Sound pop down but he rocked the stage. Beenie is a performer but he need s some edges and to take care of his teeth
I sometimes give beenie the title of the only true performer dancehall has, that's not what I'm disputing. I give props also to Gong-zilla, elephant man, Buju, and the rastas when i'm ready. Beenie needs to shut his mouth, always been his damn problem. Chat too much and too much phuckery.
As a dancehall vet why you always running your mouth on someone else? too damn mix up. He's old enough to know better by now. Then he plays the victim when the people clap back (that's the core of decades long back and forth with bounty). Beenie provokes bounty by words, song or deed, bounty being the ignoramus/hot head he is answer back and Beenie throws his hand up in the air and says "I never do anything, why is bounty so dark and fool-fool? I'm King of the Dancehall" and does his little laugh.
What oonu calling International? North American recognition. Many dancehall acts get "ratings" in the east and other parts of the world, you know that. Many acts that I scratch my heads about including TOK get people to support them, release album in said regions only etc etc and now it seems Alkaline did a tour and was well received overseas. Elephant man also has a big fan base. Y'all not gonna take that from him, ele said he's on tour in europe AND beenie know that so why him a chat foolishness.
Both of them have had their local presence decline significantly. AND bounty as well.
I still think he's remembered more widely for the nineties "Who Am I/Sim Simma" more than "King of the Dancehall", that lame song with Janet Jackson the other ones he's done that cross over etc etc
Plus you know that whole concept about "you cant run dancehall" if you not big in Jamaica. I dont know the last Beenie Man hit. I know of at least 2 ele songs this year. If you can point me to beenie's songs
