sweetheart no. i always have time for you personally. and i apologize if that came across that way.
if i may (and i'll keep it short)? rocky horror is a genuine cult classic. when it was released, it failed miserably. it found its fame and popularity in midnight showings (some of which where in the theaters i told you about -- alamo draft house). rocky horror for some (including myself) isn't just a film. it's an emotional investment. it's something that speaks to those that are different and tells them that it's ok to be different. it's ok because there are other people that feel the same and you will all have this film/stage play to flock to, relate to and bond with each other.
for about an hour and a half at a time, we as lovers of this film are truly free. we don't dream it, we be it and can forget everything in our lives and genuinely live in the moment and with each other. same goes for paris is burning, monty python, star trek, star wars or any other real fandom.
now... (for me) that's the short version.
where we go from here depends on if you liked it or not once you see it.
