interesting, i just bought a lace front wig for $26.00.. no problem.

Freetress is really stepping up their lacefront game, but the front is still a bit heavy on the density.

I bought the Jealousy wig, and was pretty impressed that i don't need any glue.  the aplus Ozone wigs, i have to apply the Got2bglued for the lace to stay down.  Over time, with a couple of washings - the ozone lace kept popping up even with the gel/glue holding it down.  thus i would clip those trouble spots.

Freetress has a firm lace? but once you cut it, and put it on?  it's not detectable.  Just keep the straps on the wig for adjustment.  it has a very small part in the front, and can be worn as an updo..

i looked up a you tube review on it before taking the plunge, and yeah.. i observed the same old yanking and pulling, and the person drooling all over themselves in the camera, while you could barely see the top of her head during the whole review..Angry

She was more worried about which camera angle and lighting made her look her best, versus sharing information. for about 10 whole minutes.

Ouch

I have this wig and too me parting does not matter on a Curly wig. I just style it to my desire and keep it moving. If parting matters to you the try some concealer or finishing powder to extend the part otherwise you might want to look into other wig choices.I also did a review and you can see the top of my head check it out if you would too here is the link http://youtu.be/iw14yRmyXZM

I've had a couple of the Jealousy wigs in different colors, got compliments on them.  Go over the ozone lace with some alcohol, and see if that helps.

For now, I'm trying the 21 Tress "Malaysian" human/synthie blends in Purity and Angel .  For a curly/wavy style, the wigs seem to resist frizz more than the typical synthie wigs.  The shine dulls down nicely.  I'm on my 2nd Purity, and I need to resist running my fingers through it. Smile

oh, thank you Miss Tousha.. i like this wig so much after working with it, that i've ordered 2 more.

Also, the parting isn't bad.  at first i didn't see one at all, but had to become more familiar with it.

and thank you for the review. Very straight forward.Smile

Miss Chatnoir, i bought one wig that was a 21 Tress full synthie.. It was a medium length curlie wig.  No matter what i did, the shine would not go away.. I take it, that since this is a 1/2 and 1/2 that it makes a difference in the sheen?

and now i'm tempted.  after looking at the pics of the wigs you've just mentioned, i'd like to give them a whirl..

I'll wait until these 2 Jealousy wigs wear out, and will put the Angel and Purity on my "wish list" or my "cart"..Smile

i'm trying out a different gel for my edges.

Before i put on my LF, i usually slick down the edges with Argon Oil Perfect Edges.  Lately? especially when it's getting warmer, by the end of the shift, parts of my edges are sticking up - or revert..

I'm trying out a new gel (organic), called As I am.  I read the reviews on blackgirwithlonghair.com and hope it works..

The human hair could be a factor in the shine toning down some.  By the way, I thought that I had read that the % of synth hair to human is 70/30.
