good morning!! i was gonna say you're up early; turns out that i'm just up late.
and go ahead, get started on records. did you build your collection? was much of it given to you? what genres make up the bulk?
i had a few and a friend of mine gave me the bulk. it's mostly music from the 40s-60s. lots of instrumentals like mancini, some bossa nova, a bit of cugat & puente, and very "american songbook"-- perry como, sinatra, nat king cole and the like.

he's a sweetheart. his uncle passed away and he had ZERO interest. they're yours baby. keep em, sell em-- your decision.
aaaah-- you're contemporary. yeah, that will set you back. there seems to have been a resurge in the demand for vinyl.
it never went away, thank you dj's and club kids, but it seems to be serious out there these days.
i'd imagine the sound is dynamic on pressings these days. "aural sex on a platter" some would say.
i may need to make a project of getting all of a recent artist's work on plates. so far my prized record is sgt pepper-- has all the paper badges and everything.
