COCO, do what I say!! The plantain chips DO taste like cardboard. Ive also had them the way Nigerians make them, they were kinda boring. Here is the recipe I use ... i wish he had a video up.. it's very similar to the tostone video below, BUT before he refries them, he puts them in a bowl of garlic, salt, and water. ..and he didnt smash them as thin.. so its still meaty inside. GO MAKE THEM!! put lots of salt http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/fried-plantains-recipe/index.htmlSIMILAR but lacking the flavor

I really need a full time hobby or something to occupy my mind. When I have too much free time I end up sitting around thinking about certain things and letting it piss me off all over again even after I'm over it.
