Good morning in Yoruba.
'Ba wo ni?' or 'Se alaafia ni?'- How are you?/What's up?
'Alaafia la wa, ese.' or 'A dupe, ese' - I'm good, thanks.
'Alaafia' actually comes from Arabic like a lot of Yoruba words. It's hard to translate it into English but it basically means good health/peace/happiness.

I'm supposed to meet my old boss for lunch, but I have a feeling she's going to be at least an hour late
I need to get up and start trying to look decent, but my bed feels great

dont ask, its tear worthy buckets of tears, at that price point they should do the dishes and clean the house as well as come with 'fun bags and fun seats' and you know if it was a marriage and divorce situation, that would be the first thing you get out of the house because thats what she'll put a hammer to first

Arabic huh? Interesting. I was actually trying to pronounce them all like I would in a conversation if I was asking/answering someone. Thanks for the lesson. I'm going to have to bookmark this
