The MSM I've been taking as definitely been affecting my hair. I've noticed substantial new growth since I started using it, and the new growth is smoother, and sleeker. (Front hair line is still unruly though)
Deep conditioning my hair makes a big difference in it as well.
Also I want to purchase silk amino acids to add to my hair products, does anyone know where I can purchase them?

Sorry girl, I dunno much about SAAs but have you done a search. They were all the rave back in 2007 or so. I'm sure the information is archived somewhere.

Next week, I'm getting my annual trim and straightening! Excited and anxious! I'm thinking if an updo- either braided or two strand twisted.

Did a length check and it's looking good for year 3. I need to join the PS group for the winter. Ion't care if I only get the tip of a strand, I better be yelling 'A tip is WL' by the end of summer lol.
If I can get a good pic (The ones I took were dark) tomorrow, I'll post 'em.

im itching for heat too swift...maybe around xmas..
surprisingly my hair has been good to me while wearing it in a bun..its remained very soft and untangly...i wonder if its the shea butter

i work on a hair journey at the over 50 age... this will be interesting.
And i'm sure i'm not the only one. i saw a pic of a member by the name of NJOY.. DAMN!! i think she's over 50.
Plus, the lady who owns Hair-aerobics.. she's over 55, and puts young women to shame.
These ladies take very good care of their bodies, hair and everything else.. They are my inspiration.. i didn't think it was possible to grow hair once you made the old menopause age.

yeah.. looks like they thought they were getting some black friday BARGAINS down in the weave section.. Those ladies are coming up with some garbage hair.

I met a lady last night. She was such a beauty and she rocked an Angela Davis style fro that was super soft. I hope she decides to visit us here.
I'm currently semi-straightened and I wore it all pushed to one side. I dunno why my hair never feels long to me. I think I'm jaded by the hairboard beauties.
Anyway, HAPPY THANKSGIVING, ladies!

More problems in weaves? Smh. I'd be so nervous to buy hair after all of the stories I've read on here. Hopefully the ladies get their hair problems resolved with the sellers.
