I'm pretty sure I've got seborrheic dermatitis.Angry

I was complaining about dandruff last month and treating it with acv rinses. No good. Then it got worse when I felt a rough area on my scalp in the very back not associated with my original problem smh. After looking around the internet and seeing what other nappies use for SD, I'm going to start washing every 2 days, using sulfur on my scalp and hope I see a change in a week or 2.

Any other ladies have this problem?

Feeling to hack of 5 inches of hair right now, it's like cutting the split ends ain't doing nothing. When I go away don't be surprised if you see me come back like Amber Rose - minus the blonde! LOL

CC, my Latina friend is dealing with similar issues and she has excezma. She's allergic to sulfur, so I'm trying to find something to help her out. I suggested tea tree oil and I think I gave her some products containing tea tree oil, but I see she needs something different.

I had excezma for a real long time. Early on in my hhj, I got on the REAL black soap bandwagon. Cleared it right up. I have been meaning to pick up more bc the results were immediate. Might be worth checking it out.

On the one hand I'm telling myself I want locs but then here I am not even wanting to put yarn braids in because I like playing in my hair too much and I know I will get antsy.

Thanks Luv!Heart

I read on another site that vaginal antifungal cream (yeah yeah yeahLOL) works well to control  the yeast overgrowth in the affected area. She could try that if it is SD. Does she do hot oil treatments to help her scalp?

Sulfur/oil mix seems to be working right now. The skin is feeling better and I'm not getting cornflakes lol. I want to try the real black soap so this can get under control before the cold dry winter months.
