Well I'm officially one month in with these braids and they are looking a little fuzzy. But eff it I'm keeping them in. At the two month mark I may just get the front of my hair redone. I'm trying to have braids the whole semester.

I didn't moisturize my hair today and now I'm paying for it. My scalp feels dry af. I'm going to moisturize tomorrow morning. I have three weeks left with these braids but I may keep them in past the two month mark. More growth for me.

I'm glad I moisturized my hair today! It feels much better. I'm glad I don't have a lot of build up.

Hydrosols make a great braid scalp spray. Just spray right on, then oil your scalp with a light natural oil mix like Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, or Argan oil with 4-5 drops Tea Tree EO mixed in. Keeps the scalp from flaking, smells great, no chemicals.

Blondes: Use chamomile, goldenrod, or http://www.etsy.com/listing/249571244/100-pure-calendula-hydrosol - calendula hyrdosol
Brunettes: Use Rosemary, nettle or  http://www.etsy.com/listing/249571244/100-pure-calendula-hydrosol - calendula hyrdosol
Redheads: Use Marigold, Hibiscus or  http://www.etsy.com/listing/249571244/100-pure-calendula-hydrosol - calendula hyrdosol

All time favorite is Lavender hydrosol, it makes your hair really soft and smells great.

Well I have 11 days left until the two month mark with these braids. Honestly they are starting to look bugged out. I think I'm going to try to keep them in until the end of the month though due to my busy schedule. I could just throw on a scarf. At least I'm getting my money's worth with these braids. I will be happy to wash my hair when I take these out because it's not going to be clean at all. I hope I hit mbl next year.

Six more days until the two month mark! My braids look fuzzy but I'm going to just try to keep them until the end of October. Then in November I'm going to do two strand twists to save some $ to get some really tiny box braids. I would like to go back on biotin but I have so much ginko baloba so I'm just going to finish that first. Right now I'm apl and I'm trying hard to get to full bsl. Once I finally take these these braids out I'm going to pre-poo, wash and deep condition my hair and maybe do a little dusting.

I know this is going to sound gross but my hair is so itchy and full of build-up. Probably because I have been moisturizing and bagging so much. I'm mad my braids only lasted two months, but they were pretty large so maybe two months is a good thing. Not to mention I have some dandruff as well. I can't wait until Sunday to snatch these braids out.

I'm so glad that I finally took those braids out! They were a mess. Today I washed, deep conditioned and did some small two-strand twists on myself which took 4 hours. This is the first time I have worn my real hair out in two years. Hopefully these twists last me at least two weeks. Then I think I will get a blow out.
