Tatee-I have thin/fine hair too. My hair doesn't look right in any twist/braid outs. Most natural styles really......except a puff but I don't like the aftermath from the tangles. It's just to sparse looking. If I attempt a fro....the detangling is a beast.

You are also right about hair typing. I can't find any fine/thin inspiration natural ladies youtube either. I'm def not enjoying being natural as I thought.

the best advice about hair i ever got was to stop fighting my hair.  the minute i stopped working against my hair and with it, it became easy.  and that ease allowed me to love it.
you may or may not find inspiration from youtubers but if you cant you have to be the inspiration for yourself. you have to learn to love who and what you are and everything that comes with...its kinda your only job on the planet.

Tatee- is the reason most natural hair people do their own hair at home due to distrust of stylist?

Try Organic Root Stimulator Fertilizing Temple Balm Or Fertilizing Serum. It's at Walgreens. There are lots of Reviews online if you want to check them out first.

Pure lavender oil is also supposed to help stimulate growth. It takes months tho, but most things that really work will.

I pinned my scarf turban down.. I was so not in the mood to flat iron my hair so I left it in 3 braids. 2 on one side, 1 on the other... disgraceful. I looked cute tho. If people only knew without it I looked like Netty. It was windy so I wasn't gonna chance it, if it had slipped off I woulda pretend fainted. I'll do it tomorrow
