I just mixed my shampoo. Shea Moisture black label shampoo, ACV, and salicylic acid powder in an applicator bottle. I'll apply it to my scalp and let it sit for a while. I wonder if the rinse out conditioner is necessary if using conditioner as a styler?

Which one did you get? That new lime green label has straightening chemicals in it. I'm not sure if it matters to you but I just want you to be aware because they were kind of slick with their marketing.

LOL

becaauuuseee, it still looks different when it's flat ironed than silky straight hair.

I want a kinky straight wig

Not really a thought, but a question...

My ends look an absolute mess and I really wanna trim them. I don't wanna straighten it cuz I'm still sticking to my no weave/no heat personal challenge so I'm definitely trimming/cutting in its natural state.

I resorted to good ole YT, and I'm even more confused.

Some people cut while its twisted, some cut while its loose, some blunt cut, some cut at an angle like relaxed hair...

Anyone have any tried and true advice/videos/heads up/etc?

Thanks in advance!
