this is annoying. i paid my ATT/TimeWarner internet service with a check? and guess what? they managed to use my check number to make automatic withdrawals from my spare checking account - 3 months later. I called my bank to cancel my account replace it with a new checking account which they've done immediately, and will dispute the charges with AT&T. I called ATT and asked them what this was all about? they don't have me on record. But it's definitely their phone# and name on my withdrawals. This was actually for a service that i had with them in August that i had only had for 6 weeks.. they were withdrawing for 3 months.. bastards...

i was reading about Irene Cara.. She's an Island Girl... They finally found her several years ago, and she said: "Don't worry, i'll be coming back".. no girlfriend.. you screwed up in this business with Gorgio Moroder and other 80's greats. Suing the person who made you famous - is not a good move. Plus, she gained about 50 lbs.. looks good on the islands, but on american t.v.? nope..that's the first thing they'll go after... and hell the singers today? Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Mariah Carey - even Adele are way over Irene's range and talent.
Then there's Steve Perry of Journey, and Peter Cetera, and Dennis Deyoung.. Their bands do not want them back - period..
Then of course, Sigfried and Roy.. The two gay tiger tamers in Las Vegas.. One of the white tigers went buck wild and kicked Roy's as&*&s.. and HE's talking about making a comeback...
i doubt that.. looking like "Who did it and ran"...

There's one "artist" whom i wish would just go away... Taylor Swift.. she bangs guys, breaks up with them, then makes songs about them... how sorry is that.. I thought Shania Twain - the walking plastic surgery recipient was bad.. now this non-talent who became famous thanks to Kanye West..

Wohoo, Femme, you are on a roll! I needed the laugh too bc I have been nursing a sick manchild all morn, noon, and most likely night.
I wish that 'artists' - shoot- people in general- would take the time to explore their other talents, so when the limelight is turned off- they don't fall into the abyss of despair and delusion and talkabout: I'm making a comback! Parlay ya talents into a new career or something!

I wish only talented people would make it in the music industry, period. The day Lumidee (I remember her name because that's how awful she sounded and her song once came on the radio unexpectedly(it was one of those back to back airing type of radio channels... and I was wearing my headphones!!!!I thought my eardrums were about to give out...and all she said was "uh oh", I guess that was a warning and I did not hesitate a second longer to take my headphones off) made it, I knew the music industry was about to make an even more rapid decline.

i think entertainment is all they know. they love the "limelight", and just can't stay away from it.. This is why many of them wind up being exploited on Vh1/Mtv for reality t.v. shows and documentaries, etc., regardless of what the material may be. they can't work a 9-5 or day to day job..

whatever is going around i'll be glad when it's over, Afro.. i'm coming down with a cold as we speak. Chills, coughing, hoping i don't give it to my SO. I think it's because the last 3 weeks have been too much.. I ran myself ragged working 2 different departments, plus being on call most of the night. Being on call is probably the worst part of the job. It was only 2degrees at night, and snowing and i was called in because a pregnant woman said she had "a little pain" .. and another female wanted to know if she was pregnant... The E.R. physician faked the report so that i could come in STAT. Thus, there i was running out at 2:00 a.m. seeing non-emergencies, until 5:00 a.m. - and my next 12 hour shift started at 7:00.. one hour sleep and i'm back busting my butt for OVER 12 PLUS another night of call..and now that i have time to enjoy the weekend.. i get sick..
