Femme: I love all the avengers but definitely have special place for Robert Downey Jr.. I'm glad he is doing well now in his life.

so am i.
now that i've watched the whole movie? i've got a crush on Mark Ruffalo. apparently, Ed Norton is kind of like another douche bag "Christian Bale" behind the scenes - even worse. In the Italian Job, all of the cast members - including Charlize Theron stated that he was extremely difficult to work with.
and to think - he was with Selma Hayek, before she went on a billionaire hunt, and got one.
Marvel rejected Eric Bana. Though he's great looking, he's not a GREAT actor.
Then rejected Ed because he keeps re-writing the script, trying to direct, and control the scenes. for some reason, people felt he didn't do well with the David Banner role.
Mark Ruffalo seems to have completed the ensemble. I think it was great idea. He's cute as hell, and nailed the "David Banner" role, perfectly.

i can't believe i decided not to work out tonight.. (friday).. now i have biceps tomorrow morning. Hopefully that unemployed, loser ex cop will show up, shut up and work out, like he's supposed to. I hurt his feelings the last time, and asked to stop yacking and get to cracking. People with ADD really are annoying. They can talk to you for hours, and not remember a damn thing they just said.

Seems to me like you're paying a higher price than the gym membership Femme, ouch!
I've made some changes in my home and as time passes by I can say that I am truly pleased with the results so far. Not done as yet, but some things can wait.
Loving that the snow is gone, may it stay away now, it kept coming back like a sequel to a bad movie.
Had an unexpected day off today so I gave my hair and nails some pampering time, didn't even mind that I was up early "for nothing".

happens all the time, Ritle.
I don't think it has anything to do with looks, per se. when a woman goes to the gym "JUST TO WORK OUT"..it presents a challenge not only to the guys, but also to the females.
Shallow/superficial people want to be the ones that say: "Oh i talk to her all the time." Specifically in Small Town gyms.
When a woman is black in a white culture, plus does not fit the stereotype, folks tend to make you more of "prize" or "novelty" or "challenge".. thus, i run into this quite a bit.
In big cities... a black woman in the gym is sought out mainly on the premise that she's black/beautiful..if she's fit that's a bigger bonus.

also, here in NM? We PRAY for snow..
it's not the "wet snow" that is in most geographic locations. It's light, powdery and great for snow balls and ski-ing. Plus, the "cold" here isn't bad. Not like the type that "chills you to the bone"..in other places.
and there's nothing wrong with a having a "spa" day..you deserve it.

oh, and apparently, i talked to one of the guys at the front desk at our gym HE says he's constantly being told "That black bodybuilder is mean".. I do admit that when someone interrupts my workout to "get to know you", i am not exactly diplomatic. Most of the time i give them a blank stare and walk off, or find another piece of equipment to work out on if they want to "share" - when there's 4 other EMPTY units just like it in the gym.

@Femme Plus some people are chatterboxes or easily distracted and then make it a point to distract other people to keep themselves entertained, but yea...men need to get over themselves.
And about the stereotyping you've mentioned, it's so unfortunate and messed up self-entitlement by lame people.
Oh and speaking of "spa day", I am yet to use my facial steamer and haven't done a facial mask in a while, I think my Sunday is going to be a spa day and I'll give myself a pedicure while I'm at it.
