I skipped working out yesterday because I was (and still am) sick and my stomach hurted a bit too much. Not sure if it's a stomach virus or it's just me feeling a bit of pain because I do crunches everyday and being sick made me feel them. I'll be skipping today because I have a lot of yard work to do and I don't want to combine being sick with doing somewhat early exercises and yard work. I'll be back on it tomorrow though.

<vent> *sigh* my body is so friggin strange. My weight is going up and down. I like to see the scale move down only but I can deal with the up and down because I know I'm adding some muscle on there. My issue is that my friggin measurements don't budge. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if they just don't move. ugh so annoying. This stomach of mine has GOT to go. I swear I have the oddest shape ever. I never see anyone with measurements as odd as mine. I am walking 30 mins a day and I know I need to pick up my cardio but I am scared of losing my bottom because I am not working with much and I have not found the time to fit it in while taking care of a fiesty 3 month old. I guess I will have to give up some sleep because quitting isn't an option. </vent>

Thanks. I'm definitely feeling better. And looking better. I took off the 13th for the same reasons mentioned above but I have now exercised for every day afterwards. I got to tough out this everyday regiment until it's time for me to just do exercises every other day at the end of the year.

Wow im finally studying to be a personal trainer :-) ive never done anything this important. Finally going to go after my dream of helping other women and kids lose weight. (and i'll be working for myself, so no stinky, gross male clients) and the best part is i can market myself really easily b/c ive already lost a lot of weight and kept it off for 6 years.
This is gonna be so awesome. Been waiting soooooo long for an oppurtunity like this :-)

Omgosh babygurl! I've always wanted to do something along those lines! Keep us updated with your journey & which branch your gonna get certified under,it's so expensive I'm also afraid to do it because you hear so many stories about PTs failing bc they don't know how to market themselves & the buisness side of things. Once my body becomes completely on point I'm following your lead...I need abs first

It was the strangest thing, i always assumed i could never do personal training too, but the other day i was working for this lady who had also lost over 100 lbs like me. She said Go For It! And that i could get certified online for under $1000. So after some research i was pretty floored to read there arent many qualifications for being a PT ._.
Thank god ive been self employed for 2 years (not going to say what cuz yall will judge me), so im totally confident in getting my business out there. The hard part is just finding the right clients that will stick with your services and arent broke :p its really not hard to start a business if your friendly and open to learning. I have spent a total of $15 on advertising in these 2 years and that was on business cards, i get all my other business advertising on craigslist, so even that aspect can be realllllly really cheap.
For now im gettin the ghetto free ACT cert just to make sure i can understand all the materials, if i pass then i have $1000 saved up for more :) probably going to go with ACE, it seems reputable and is only like $500 with everything. I'd like to be certified in group training, training obese and kids (even though my insurance would be fricken high) or at least nutrition and/ or yoga.
