Yeah it can become very uncomfortable, ICE. But u will still get results if u don't wear it every single day all day long, it will just take longer to reach ur goals. That 23/7 corset wearing to achieve results is just a myth. But it is better to listen to ur body and if u get to the point where u have had it for the day whether it be 5 hours in or 8 hours in take it off or let it out. Do more on days u feel u can. Exercise will def boost ur results as well! This is from a commited tightlacer who has been corsetting for years web page. So don't give up if you can't wear it all day long. I don't wear mine all day either...never have. 5-10 hours is my usual depending on the day and my level of greed. lol HTH
Some myths about tightlacing: 24/7 – The biggest myth is that you have to lace 24 hours a day 7 days a week to be a tightlacer. Few people could sustain this for so many reasons, many of which I will cover further on, but mostly it is just unnecessary. Reducing is about dedication to the corset, diet, and being sensible. The more you wear the corset the more you will shape, but there is a point of no return where wearing the corset beyond your limit of tolerance will give you no more result in reduction. I developed the Cycle Method around this and taking breaks from lacing is really part of the lifestyle – regardless of whatever may be written by some to the contrary.

Now that I been focused on my finances and I am on my way to reaching my freedom goal I need to get back on track with this body of mine. I neglected it this year and paid the price. I'm going to start with the basics and find a goal dress to wear at a big event.
It's getting cold so my basics will be walking and yoga for now until I figure out my routine. Before I stopped exercising I was losing weight slowly and then slowly gaining in cycles and saw myself losing belly and keeping some of my curves so I'm going to build a routine that fit those things in it again.

I danced so much at a concert last night. It felt worse than a regular workout. LOL Working out today, still trying to get back up to 40"...what a sad day...
I was wondering how I was still losing inches once I started eating again, then realized it was because of my insomnia. Sure, I was at least eating every day, sometimes twice a day, but I was also staying up all night with friends, and wasn't eating enough to make up for that fact. =_=
I'm so glad I'm STARTING to get an appetite again, and my insomnia is starting to die down. If anyone has a natural cure for bipolar insomnia, please let me know, I can't keep living like this...

Reading through here and have to say, thank goodness for the men that reassure us when we feel like we're slipping. I love those "babe, your ass looks HUGE"
On a side note, looks like I have to get rid of my gym membership in order to start paying on my student loan Time to get to those donkey kicks.

Thank you, I'll try this tonight. I may also look into the castor oil if it persists, I've never heard of that before! My only problem is that bipolar insomnia can't be treated like normal insomnia. It doesn't respond to most things. I can FEEL my body producing melatonin once it gets dark out, but my body is unable to sleep no matter how tired I am. Even sleeping pills are useless to me. The worst part is that when I finally do get to sleep, I'm only half-asleep the entire time. Sometimes my dreams get so bad I can feel my heart racing while I'm asleep, and I'll wake up feeling like I'd been out running all night long. The chronic insomnia is giving me daily migraines now. Today I developed kaleidoscope vision and couldn't workout...
