QUVENZHANE WALLIS RIDES ON SET OF NEW FILM
Ten-year-old Quvenzhane Wallis was spotted rolling around the set of the upcoming “Annie” remake on Tuesday (9/17/13). She used one of New York City’s public bikes as her mode of transportation while on location in Harlem, NY.
The young star has been cast as the lead in the Columbia Pictures
remake of the musical classic. Quvenzhane will play the hard-knocked
life orphan (Annie) that gets taken in by a wealthy businessman. The
movie also stars Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks (a modern day Daddy
Warbucks character) and Cameron Diaz as Miss HanBrothan (the not-so-nice
Willow Smith, daughter of Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith, was
originally slated to star in the title role. The new film is set to
release in December 2014.
