Hi ladies, this video is long past due! But I was pm'd by a BHM member about laying her tracks so the sides will be flat for ponytails and other pull back styles. I couldn't convey the message in words so I did a quick video demonstration

This isn't the seemless method by far, but the results are very identical and it's fairly simple!

I sew up and then fold over. It helps it lay flat against the braid when pulled back.
