Hello everyone. After several bad installs and taking a break from sew ins, I've decided to get back into it. I have some questions regarding a recent purchase though. I placed an order from an Alibaba vendor I have purchased from before. However, when I received the hair, the package had a different company's name on the package. Is this normal? Up until now, the original company's name has always been on the package.
Also, after viewing some of Jacebeauty's videos, I'm beginning to pay more attention to the structure and overall quality of the hair that I receive. Just as a reference, I ordered some "brazilian" body wave hair. I prefer the brazilian labeled hair due to the way it's proccessed. Anyway, I did a heat test and it straightened well with no problems, I haven't noticed any fillers (although I did see one string of yarn), but I do notice that there are several short strands of hair in the wefts. Jace's videos showed them completing a "hackling" proccess to remove short hairs. Will this cause a problem over time with thinning if I install this hair?
I don't have any pics as I just finished cowashing. I'm just curious because the more research I do, the more I want to be sure my future purchases are high quality. I think after this my next purchase will probably be with Jace. Anyway, thanks in advance for any insight!:)
