Why does it seem that the people who are always so bothered by "thread like these" are always the first to be in them? Anyway, who know of some African message boards I can join?

Rumbera, ishu does mean yam in yoruba. The rest don't look too familiar although wa can mean come like 'wa je'on': come eat!

Thanks Cherry !

I don't know how to spell the words correctly also. Wani or wa je means " to come " in a song.

I am going to look more into this in the future, you may get a question or two in the future. Geek

No problem! I'll have to do some research too, I'd love to travel to these yoruba-speaking parts of Cuba.

Thanks. If they knew so much they'd simply answer instead of getting mad at someone who doesn't know.
