I just bought a bottle of this today ... the brand is Pampa and the ingredients are 94% soybean oil and 6% EVOO.

Currently I've been sealing with Grapeseed oil and it doesn't seem to help.

Would this oil be good for sealing or should I just leave it for cooking with?

Thanks in advance!

Awesome find! Of course we all know that olive oil is excellent for moisturizing dry hair when there is a moisture void present in the hair. Soybean oil, although it has some properties similar to olive oil (density, moisturizing properties, ability to penetrate the hair), is mainly a protein rich oil. It also nourishes the hair cuticle and transforms dry, frizz prone damaged hair. If you are protein sensitive, it may be at best to only use it sparingly instead of an everyday oil for sealing purposes. But hey, its worth a try Smile
OSN: The main ingredient in the Cantu shea leave in is soybean oil, hence the reason iwhy it is so protein rich.

I just bought this exact oil yesterday but I haven't used it yet. I was thinking of using it as a hot oil treatment.

I use Crisco on my hair and that is a hydrogenated blend of cottonseed and soybean oil and it works great as a sealent. I believe the oil in the pictured is unrefined soybean oil, it will be ok to use on the hair
