On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, instead of reassuring her mom that she was safe, Reddit user AlphaF
decided to have a little fun. She posted a photo of herself holding
onto the edge of a cliff, along with the caption, "Mom was worried about
my trip to the Grand Canyon, I sent her this picture." Scroll down to view the full photo.
In reality, the girl was standing on a ledge beneath her or had
climbed into a safe position. But the cleverly-staged -- and hilarious
-- photo, which made its way to the front page of Reddit last weekend, looks shocking enough to fool many viewers.
