I know protein is very important for healthy hair growth. I have been reading around that protein shakes promotes hair growth. Have anyone tried this if so let me know you results. I would probably like to try this.

I would say yes. There is a great thread on this. I think it is called drinking your way to waistlength hair.

I
make a shake everyday that consist of
1 egg
240ml of vanilla soy milk ( I use the silk brand)
1/2 banana
2 teaspoons sugar
1 capful of vanilla flavoring
I blend it up and drink it. Before you knock it try. I have all of my co workers drinking this. Remember the results of good health will not be seen overnight. Taking care of the hair tha you have now must continue, but I think the new growth will be stronger due to the increased protein. The girls who did not use raw egg , used a protein powder. My co worker recommends Muscle Milk ( vanilla) brand. I always drink it for breakfast and it takes a second to make. Give this three months to see the affects.

Ya, I believe the theory behind this is that since hair is simply dispelled protein, more protein = more hair . . . I think lol

Okay, so. I was feeling this whole shake thing and I don't have any Vitamin/ Drinkable Growth Aids. So I just went out and bought a shake pack. 5 grams of protein, Vitamin A 45% Vitamin C 50% Calcium 50% and Vitamins D,E, and K, B6 and B12 are all 25%.  Biotin is also in it! 25% I'm not sure how good those numbers are but, I'm hoping it works and is more than a trial run!

I do eat a protein bar (20 grams) every morning with 2 bananas.  My hair and nails are growing faster.

Hey I'm on that challenge. Well on and off. But when I'm consistent I get good energy. When I was extra consistent I got a growth spurt. Plus it's good for your skin.
