Seriously, how does TX yield that much influence?  I can't believe that the east coast population doesn't have more influence then the southwest.  C'mon son LOL

I read the textbooks the kids have as well, and haven't seen that mess OP posted.  And maybe because we live in a very culturally diverse neighborhood/school district my kids get black and brown history.
