What's the reason for hair stylist to tell their clients, not to place nothing on their scalp once they have a full weave? Once I get my hair done in the shop 2 days later my scalp itches alot, I feel I should moisture my scalp but my hairstylist says no let the natural oils do it.

I've never heard of that. Old bhm heads used to advise to put oil/conditioner in a squirt bottle to get to ur scalp. I'll google to see if I can find the old threads.

Natural oils are enough for most people. I know for me, I have to keep my scalp clean or else, adding oils will make my face produce oil and my face will be greasy.

When I do apply growth aides or oil to my scalp under a weave or a wig, i am just sure to wash my hair and scalp very frequently. But I wash it very frequently even if i am not adding oil to prevent any type of buildup.

-Keep your weave in longer than 3 months
-Neglect your edges.
