I've been to most major cities in America and like most people I have my favorites. But some cities I could never live in long term for various reasons.

1. Atlanta - I like this city actually. Was raised there half my childhood but I just don't vibe with the environment. It's a great city to visit and kick it for a week or two but long term I get kind of bored after a while. Theres a lot of fake wannabe bougie people there as well.

2. New York City - I fux with NYC too but the cost of living All the New Yorkers living in Atlanta let me know it just ain't worth it anymore. The sheer amount of women from every race there is the only reason I would do a year or two though.

3. Philadelphia - A city full of history but the quality of women I have seen there visiting twice is straight

4. Baltimore -

Living in DC, its just a lot better. Theres no reason to live in Bmore when DC is 45 minutes away. Cleaner, better public transportation, better looking people, opportunity to make more money, less crime (i thk), etc. I'll give it to Bmore for having more down to earth people tho, DC can use more of that.

Bmore is not all like what people/media tell you. I wouldn't live there though just because people where I'm from, we're raised to not like them bamasLOL

Anyway, I can never say never but I wouldn't enjoy living:
LA
Atlanta
Las Vegas
anywhere deep south that's not in texas

Detroit
New Jersey(same as Florida)
Los Angeles
Florida(like Sandy said ya'll pick one )
Houston

I've been wanting to move to Dallas but eh...

I have to confess tho, I'm kind of tired of living in America for various reasons. I wanna move to an island.

I said anywhere BETWEEN Seattle and Chicago, meaning I'd live in either of them but not the middle.

And no, SF cannot be matched on the Northwest.

I hate California period. The only redeeming quality it has is the nice weather. Superficial people(which can be said for Atlanta and plenty other states just the same, posers are everywhere), cost of living, cooning ass black men etc.

I'm a Southern girl , I'll never truly embrace another region the way I do the South. Every chick from California I've met seems to think her shyt don't stink and they tend to get around....a lot. Westcoast people in general just have this stank aura about them.

I live in Phoenix, I could never say the South gets this hot. I prefer the humidity, dry heat is for the birds. I've lived in New Orleans so I've seen plenty of art and culture. I love Southern people, I've met some friendly people here in Az, but most of them act like they're scared of black people....unless they are coons or rich(athletes mostly). But yeah, Cali does have better beaches

Sometimes I forget that things are expensive here.

I took an out of towner to get a pedicure and she asked me how much it would be and I said 28$ and her jaw dropped. Apparently she could get a full set and pedicure w/some designs for that. She about died when I said designs start at 5$ extra.

arizona is cool...i see why you like it...might be the only southern state im a fan of..
even though its extttttremely hot...mercy...

i dont like 80% percent of the southern people i run into
i liked 80% percent of the people out in californiaLOL

i noticed one thing...true southern people and true californians generally do not mix...there are two different attitudes/mindsets...cali is more liberal..south is too conservative...

i know someone who moved from cali to out here...and she hates it also...we get each other...

i like being around smiling people...almost everybody out there smiled at me back if i passed by them and smiled or spoke...

out here..sweet mercy...i smile at people out here and its a 50/50 chance most of the time they either frown or roll their eyes...

like bsh is your life that miserable to where it would kill you to smile/speak back...
i dont like that..

I couldn't believe that when I moved here either. Charging for every design? Bish please . I go to the salon in Walmart now, $18 for the "deluxe" pedicure.

Oh I already know. I don't do humidity (lived in boston and that was enough for me) or dry heat.

When I move I'm limited to beach towns and places with lots of cloud cover/rain (but no snow).

So basically, the pacific northwest.

I'd consider DC but it is costs too much and the weather is messy in the cold months.

The sun. I swear the sun is on some other ish over here. There's like a 20 degree difference from my house to down the hill at ventura blvd.

And there are special type of white people in the valley. Now my family is white, and I love them. But these other valley white folk...no m'am. They constantly have to be checked.

But other than that it's all good. Maybe because I'm a fatty, but the restaurant selection here is the best. Our grocery stores are top of the line. And we have other great amenities (arclight nearby, burke williams spa, universal studios down the street, etc. etc.).

I would love to live in Venice at the canals but...too many families and loud children with no home training. I think Marina would be great for me though.

I had a great time in Manhattan this past Summer, but I would not move there. I definitely want to visit often. Not in Winter.
I really liked ATL, I loved the humidity. But wouldn't move because of the winters.
I think I would move to DC bc I liked it so much... but the winter.

I'm a Cali girl and I hate the cold, like with a passion. The way people get upset about being hot, is how irritable I get in cold. Like I don't want to be bothered at all. I know it sounds crazy, but its cold for Fall, Winter, and some of Spring in most places and I caint.

Me neither. I've also heard many people say the New York "experience" is seriously overrated.

NYC (Rent too damn high)
San Fransico (Rent REALLY too damn high)
LA (Rent too damn high)
Honolulu (Rent too damn high)
Orlando. (Boring)

I've always had my eye on Houston though.  And Boston.
Maybe Miami when I'm old and crotchety and ready to retire.  But more than likely Costa Rica Smile

Overpriced, dirty, racist cops that stop you for walking while Black but plenty of fun things to do. lol I'll pass.

One reason I'll consider many cities in the Western and Southern states is because they're cleaner.

Couldn't live:
1. NYC : great place to visit for a few days but to live.. I'll pass. The people are a little to consumed with the fast life. Theres not enough room to spread out and breathe and at the end of the day. NYC embodies everything that I hate about the North East Coast.

2. Detroit : That city is far to gone for me. Its not about living.. its about surviving.. Again.. the quality of life aspect is important for me at this stage in my life and the weather sucks also. Detroit leads the league in grey skies.

3. Baltimore : I don't know if I could move back home. My Bmore fam is too much. I Can't.

Could live:
1. NW: At this point the NW is more suited for me. The rain sucks.. but the air is cleaner.. the racism is diet.. and the pace isn't stupid fast.

2. San Fran: I'd be close to fam and I just like it their. I def love the architecture… but I'd have to be balling more so than now to really be able to enjoy myself.

3. Los Angeles: Its my favorite city. imo.. its a warmer spread out NY imo. I could deal with the pace and the constant misguided hustle everyone has if i had some space. I also like being close to a beach.

Alias, you need to visit New Orleans quick! You'd love it. The culture, the (Black) people, plenty to do and it's a southern city so your money stretches.
