My childhood best friend celebrated her birthday today

I was invited to the party two weeks ago by her bf and current BFF.

I gave my friend a gift but I'm wondering if I should still offer to contribute to the party.

I'm not working right now but..

Since it wasn't asked don't offer....sweet gesture but u gave a gift...we'd have to be good friends now for me to be helping pay for the party.

I wouldn't offer to contribute financially to their party.
Since you already gave her a gift just bring a bottle of alcohol and or nice birthday card.

If you aren't throwing it for her then there is no need to contribute. You are an invited guest a gift is fine.

Bring your gift and enjoy the party. Unless you were asked to contribute, don't worry about it.
