Dior I like the draping but don't like the applique/embroidery shape or design

Something different will make the dress happen

Yay to the 2nd dress

Posted By: sugabanana

Perhaps the 2nd dress needs a thin belt??? something with stones or crystals?

Posted By: ms_wonderland
Date Posted: Jun 05 2014 at 8:04am
the draping on the 1st dress looks like early miss america...it's not the worst thing in the world but the 2nd dress feels more modern and flattering.

the first dress is ok
the second dress is lovely

I like the first dress but I wouldn't wear it. The second dress is cute.

Posted By: goodm3

i think those princess gowns are appropriate for really young brides....the ones actually needing toasters and ish like that...

i've seen that 2nd style on a lot of brides and unless you have similar body type it can look bad. If you gotta gut, its going to highlight it...if you have huge booty..it can look a ho-ish too...

I agree with Good on the second dress.  It really depends on your body type.

You should give us an idea of your body type to assist you better.

One is pretty. I like two better. Is no. 2 a no no for hippy women? According to this chart pears should stick to a lines and ballgowns. Not a fan of either style

Depends on the body type.

If the bride is short, then no.

Posted By: NARSAddict
Date Posted: Jun 05 2014 at 11:11am
It really depends on the person physique.  I know on me I will not like ball gown wedding dresses, I prefer column dresses.  But if you like it Dior, just try it out and make that decision.

Sounds like that chart only applies to women who don't like to show off their curves. Go with what you love.

Two very different styles of dresses. It's a personality thing. I'm sure the first one can look beautiful on the wispy, ingénue type.

BHM can never say no to a mermaid dress or any type of body hugging dress for that matter

I like the cate one.

I know mermaid style is a "classic" shape but it's tired right now.
Every wedding I've been to in the last two years has had a mermaid or trumpet gown.

Ahh no need to hire I'd help if I could

MissA I love the beading!  I agree about the bow. The ruching on the butt reminds me of another dress that is a bit out there, a tad crass/vulgar but there's something I like about it

And I don't really like attention all that much lol!  LOL

I'd wear this somewhere . I'd need it softer though. It looks like a not so soft material here.
