Here’s the trailer for “Fresh Off the Boat,” a new sitcom that was just ordered by ABC. The show is a first of its kind: It follows the misadventures of 12-year-old Eddie and his Taiwanese immigrant family as they move from Washington, D.C. to Florida. It’s based on a memoir by celebrity chef Eddie Huang.

Cute !!
Looks like it has potential, unless the Asian Community don't like the way they are being portrayed.

I like it but it seems very white washed.  Or at least there's a good splash of white people in the preview.  I'll still watch though, will catch it online. Embarrassed

@ the OP Tatee only... , I will not comment on MOST or note about TV/ shows/ Queen B/etc… media/etc.---… on The BHM… the fear of small spheres in my domain…
However, perhaps, they can change the title… tho.

People of color can only have a "mainstream" sitcom if their lives are centered around White folks now? Confused

And we're suppose to think this is "progress"? I guess they expect us to take the crumbs that they throw at us and tell them thank you with a smile on our face

If Suey Park is not here for this then that's a red flag

Also, notice how Black people are barely represented and yet still manage to be the antagonists while Whites are damn near worshiped

It's sickening
