So I got this idea from another forum. Basically the 90 day goal is a challange where you create a goal, and ou work very hard towards it for 90 days. These goals could be weight loss, running distance, acne clear up, find a job, meditating, anything! The only requirement is that your goal be SMART. That is:
Specific – target a specific area for improvement.
Measurable – quantify or at least suggest an indicator of progress.
Assignable – specify who will do it.
Realistic – state what results can realistically be achieved, given available resources.
Time-related – specify when the result(s) can be achieved.

You set a goal in the beginning, and then you set daily goals (to achieve your big) as you go along. Example, lets say my goal is to lose 20 lbs.. I would post every day saying aomething like "Day 45: 13lbs down to day I will eat such and such and do a bodyweight workout." The good thing about it is you can work with others and be held accountable, while still having goals that are specific to you.

So anyway, I thought it would be a fun thing to do here. Who's in?

Cool Beans

My 90-day goal

I will like to lose 15-20 lbs.

I cannot be more specific because I will like to see what a 15 lb loss will look like on me. Don't want to appear too thin.

Cool guys! remember to be specific, how will you go about completing your goal?

My 90 days goal will be to lose 20-30 lbs. (I know 30 is  abit ambitious for such a short time)
I will do this by calorie couning on MFP, running, and body weight training.

Ooops.

My weight loss will be by way of LCHF (Low Carb High Fat).
I have been doing it for 2-weeks without progress.    As a matter of fact I have gained a few lbs.    However, I am determined to get the hang of it.   I have not, now will I cheat.

Pounds be GONE !!!

One of the doctors on the show "the doctors" recently indicated that you can safely lose 30-60 pounds in 3 months...he apparently has a book out. Check it out.

Accountability? I'm down.LOL

Specific – My torso!
Measurable – My pants will continue to fit looser.
Assignable – Me!
Realistic – Fit in my small jeans. Not measuring pounds but it would be about 12lbs (4lbs a month) with cardio (biking and swimming) and eating better.
Time-related – August 12

didn't do any workout. But kept my calories at 1100. I can't blame myself for not working out in the middle of finals week.

My goal for tomorrow will be to do a bodyweight workout and 1100 calories.

DAY ONE (I meant to post this last night):

I believe that I did well for the most part.  I went out to eat with my girlfriends (I also had three drinks Disapprove) and had a small order of movie popcorn.  However, up until that point (3 pm) I hadn't eaten.  Later last night I was hungry, so I made a grilled chicken wrap (with more lettuce than chicken).

I got about 40 oz. of water consumed and as far as exercise, I walked.

DAY TWO (Sorry, I wasn't home last night)

Strangely, I've been eating two meals a day ... and I've been satisfied.  The scale says that I'm down two pounds, but I'm not sure whether it's water weight or actual pounds that I've lost.  I haven't been reaching my proposed water intake.  I've come close, but haven't hit my mark.  Also, I've been lax about counting calories and logging my meals.  I'll work on that.

I applied for two more jobs.  I was basically rejected; however, I'm not going to give up.  I'm going to update my resume and continue applying and submitting.

I cannot believe I never saw this thread! I am in! So if I start today, this goal should end by August 30th.

My body goals are to lose 4" off my waist, so it will improve my body look, and to gain 3" on my butt. For that I will do twisties daily, gain weight and work out at least 2x a week.

I want longer hair, so I will get back to using this MABH oil and do some head massage to stimulate growth, 2x a week.

I want more $$$$$$ because I need to pay my sister back and I want to help my family (we are not doing well financially). I don't have an specific method for that yet, but I will figure one out by researching some things I have in mind, working on my dream career, meditating so I'll calm my mind and be more focused, and seek jobs, etc.

I want to achieve my body goals by late July - the latest.
Hair goal would be nice to achieve this month, since I want waist length hair for SummerSmile
Money goals.... I would like to pay my sister back this month and progress to help out my family before the end of those 90 days.

I've been pretty consistent with my goals, and I must say that I am proud of myself Tongue.  Here's my update:

GOAL 1:  I've been pretty consistent with my weight loss.  Seldom (if ever) do I eat fast/processed foods.  I track and/or log my meals and my caloric intake using My Fitness Pal.  I've been pretty consistent with either saying under or within the range of recommended calories.  I've also been eating more fresh fruit (yes! LOL).  I haven't been to the gym; however, I've been walking for at least 40 minutes each day.  I make it a habit to walk somewhere, anywhere, and then back home.  I haven't re-weighed myself, but I see changes.

GOAL 2:  I've been trying to find a therapist, but I've come across a few challenges.  No money, sh*tty insurance, and finding therapists that believe they can "help me."  I want to see a psychiatrist and just get meds and talk, and I wish services were free.  My cousin gets them free, but he lives in another state.  It sucks.  Also, if I take this job I will have to move early August.  At this point I'm wondering how much sense it makes to try and find someone to talk.   In the mean time, I purchased a cool journal from CVS.  It was pricey, but I like it.  I'm going to try to write daily.

GOAL 3:  I could be doing better.  I drink a lot of water and I stick with my regimen, but I've been eating a lot of dairy lately.  My skin was clearing up and now I'm starting to get breakouts.  I'm about to get back on my ACV, lemon juice, water and cran.

GOAL 5:  I haven't even attempted.  I'm having a hard time finding free and entertaining things to do in the city.  I went to the park with my cousin, but that was it.  I'll try and do better.

I am going to make a list of what I truly want to accomplish, the steps I need to take, and any other relevant thing related to it such as getting rid of something, accepting the situation, etc, and then I am officially starting tomorrow.

So 90 days from December 21st is March 21st 2015, which is perfect because I want to accomplish my body goals by Easter, which is on April 5th.

eta: i will be out of town, so probably won't be working on my goals... i will start on the 26th but the end date is still 03/21

I played around and didn't finish what I barely started, so I am going to be serious now, because I have some decisions to make if I don't accomplish it by the end of JUne.

I am giving myself until July 1st, not the full 90 days.
