http://thinkprogress.org/culture/2014/04/27/3431245/oreilly-beyonce-teen-pregnancies/" rel="nofollow - Bill O’Reilly Says Beyoncé Is Encouraging Black Girls To Get Pregnant

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter doesn’t deserve to be  http://time.com/70716/beyonce-2014-time-100/" rel="nofollow - named  one of TIME Magazine’s most influential people, according to Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, because her new album is  http://www.tmz.com/2014/04/26/bill-oreilly-beyonce-black-girls-teens-pregnancy/" rel="nofollow - promoting sex before marriage  within the black community.

O’Reilly, who has been particularly concerned about Beyoncé’s “ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/16/bill-oreilly-beyonce-letterman-thug-show-fox_n_4974574.html" rel="nofollow - raunchy ” new album since the  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/11/bill-oreilly-beyonce-video_n_4940329.html" rel="nofollow - music video  for her song “Partition” was released, disapproves of TIME’s decision to put the singer  http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/beyonce-lands-time-magazine-100-influential-people-cover-article-1.1767411" rel="nofollow - on the cover  of its annual “100 Most Influential People” issue. On his show on Friday, O’Reilly suggested that Beyoncé isn’t helping to address the “cultural deficits” in African American and poor white communities and is actually “part of the problem.”

“She knows — this woman knows — that young girls are getting pregnant in the African American community,” the talk show host  http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_a7e9euzg/" rel="nofollow - said . “Now it’s about 70 percent out of wedlock. She knows and doesn’t seem to care.”

“She should be smart enough to know that what’s she doing now is harming some children,” O’Reilly added, after showing a clip of the singer’s “Drunk In Love”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1JPKLa-Ofc" rel="nofollow - video .

But if O’Reilly is concerned about unintended pregnancies among teen girls, Beyoncé is a strange target. The 32-year-old singer has been in a relationship with her husband, rapper Jay Z, for more than a decade. They had their first child together not out of wedlock, but after they had been married for several years. “Drunk In Love” is specifically about their monogamous relationship; in fact, her so-called “raunchy” album is largely  http://thinkprogress.org/alyssa/2014/01/27/3206571/beyonce-jay-grammys-drunk-love/" rel="nofollow - entirely about the fact  that marriage can be fun, and sensual, and desirable.

The two are arguably pop culture’s  http://thinkprogress.org/alyssa/2014/01/28/3212121/beyonce-jay-nom/" rel="nofollow - most famous married couple , and effective cultural icons to further conservatives’ argument that matrimony should be the end goal for America’s youth. But it’s becoming increasingly clear that they  http://www.newrepublic.com/article/116411/jay-z-beyonces-grammy-performance-says-nothing-about-their-marriage" rel="nofollow - simply don’t look like  the right-wing’s idea of who their spokespeople should be. O’Reilly has accused Jay Z of using his “gangsta” image to  http://thinkprogress.org/alyssa/2014/02/28/3345001/oreilly-jay-kanye-west/" rel="nofollow - impart negative messages  to young men of color, encouraging them to sell drugs and glorify violence, and during the segment on Friday, he claimed that Beyoncé’s own sexual morals don’t count when she’s singing about sex in her songs and wearing revealing clothing in her videos.

Although O’Reilly frequently  http://www.salon.com/2013/08/02/oreilly_shame_not_contraception_will_prevent_unwanted_teen_pregnancy/" rel="nofollow - laments  the teen pregnancy crisis, he typically doesn’t mention the significant progress in this area over the past several decades. The pregnancy, birth, and abortion rates for U.S. teens have all  http://thinkprogress.org/health/2013/12/05/3025781/pregnancy-birth-abortion-teens/" rel="nofollow - recently hit record lows . That’s true for the black community, too. Between 1999 and 2009, unplanned pregnancies among African American teens  http://www.bet.com/news/health/2013/12/17/study-black-teenage-pregnancy-rates-drop-dramatically.html" rel="nofollow - declined by 51 percent . According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this progress is due to the fact that more kids are making responsible sexual decisions, and are choosing to  http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db136.pdf" rel="nofollow - delay sex and use birth control .

There’s certainly  http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/03/31/3421246/teen-pregnancy-prevention-south-carolina/" rel="nofollow - more work  to be done in this policy area. But federal researchers attribute the current teen birth rate not to pop stars’ lyrics, but to the fact that most teens don’t receive any sex education until after they’ve  http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/04/09/3424564/cdc-formal-sex-ed/" rel="nofollow - already started having sex .

Honestly he can stay mad.  I hope that "anger" gives him a stroke.  I hate bringing out this old yarn but I don't considered myself a Beyonce fan/stan/casual listener but speaking for myself, I don't take these list seriously in a sense it doesn't affect my life.  True folks will talk about her whether I like it or not, I am pretty good at tuning them out.  I swear folks get so fluxed over the silliest of things.  I guess he is trying to reach out to the younger folks who subscribe to his ideology or those who are on the fence but leaning towards the right to tune into his show or just saying something inflammatory to garner more hits, good or bad.

I didn't read all that, but how ? What does a married woman who got married and then popped out a baby, dancing for her husband while he smokes a cigar have to do little with black girls and having babies ?

I don't understand why that isn't brought up when he's on shows like The view or where ever else spreading this bullsh*t.
